I found out about 10 minutes later that it was true. I am really saddened by this today--I have loved him since I first saw him in 10 Things I Hate About You and first swooned him in The Patriot. Definitely a terrible loss of a tremendous talent.
Seeing The Dark Knight in May is going to be sad now!
RIP Heath Ledger--you will be missed.
