Late Night with... Jimmy Fallon?

The word on the street (and when I say street, I obviously mean blogs) is that Jimmy Fallon is taking over for Conan O'Brien! At first I was like hello what did Conan do? Did he get fired and I totally missed it? Then I remembered that Conan is taking over the 10:35pm slot from Jay Leno next year...and I'm an idiot.



So what do we think? Jimmy Fallon? I mostly liked him on SNL but usually in character--not so much as himself. And where has he been for the past year or so? Holed up somewhere writing jokes for late night talk show TV? Let's hope so, for everyone's sake. It could be worse--at least they're not moving up Carson Daly!
