Quickie Review: Definitely, Maybe

Definitely, Maybe a cute romantic comedy. There was a lot more to this movie than I thought there would be, but I also think the preview told a little too much. The story was cute, but it was also pretty sad at times! I like these kind of movies to be feel good, not tear-up-and-sniffle! I did like that each of Ryan Reynolds' love interests was smart and independent rather than helpless and dopey like happens in far too many of these kinds of movies. Plus Ryan Reynolds was oh-so-cute--likewise for Abigail Breslin except, of course, in a very different way. Overall, cute but not the greatest movie I've seen lately. ***1/2
